Two new Canon patents from Japan: 2012-159720 is for a 14mm f/2.8 lens with anti-reflective coating. The next patent 2012-159726 is for a 300mm f/4 lens.

Canon EOS-1D X now shipping

The Canon EOS-1D X is now shipping in the US and is currently in stock at Amazon. The top of the line Canon DSLR features 18.1MP full frame CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 5+ processors, 3.2″ LCD screen, dual CF memory cards slots and auto focus with 61 points. Canon also released firmware update 1.0.6 for the EOS-1D X.
