After the first report from Japan back in January, the Pentax K-5 DSLR is now also discontinued in the US according to this B&H listing (the body only version is still available). Expect the replacement to be announced at Photokina next month. Via Pentaxforums

Noboru Akabane, President of Pentax Imaging Ricoh, announced plans to abolish future Pentax compact digital cameras and focus on DSLRs.
