With only few weeks left till Photokina, there are many news that I already covered on the other blogs or they are just not worth a separate post. Here is a recap on what else is new:

The most interesting new patent is for a Tamron 115mm f/1.4 VC full frame DSLR lens – I already covered it on NikonRumors. Sigma issued an advisory about using their 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art and 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM lenses with the Canon 1D X Mark II DSLR camera – the exposure of the image may not be accurate. Sigma is working on a firmware update to correct the issue. Here are the details:
