There is another set of new camera announcements coming our way. In addition to Nikon, it seems that Fujifilm may announce their new X10 (or X50) on September 1st (Thursday). The new Samsung NX200 will be available for preview at the IFA show on September 2nd, so expect the announcement to be no later than September 1st as well.
Some more Fuji X10 details from the official Fujifilm forum apparently posted by a Fujifilm staff. The only news from the previous set of specs from yesterday is the OIS (Fuji X100 doesn’t have any image stabilization):

Dpreview member redcrow confirmed that the Samsung NX200 will have a 20MP APS-C sensor. The camera is expected to be announced for the IFA show in Berlin.
In the past, redcrow has always been correct when it comes to providing information for upcoming Samsung products.
According to this post on flickr, the new Ricoh GR Digital IV will be announced on September 15th, 2011. The new camera will have the same sensor and some minor tweaks:
“Body looks V similar, slightly lowered hot shoe, more colors in screen (up to 1.25million from current 800 or so), an extra autofocus sensor on front of body, slightly larger thumb area. Same sensor, new processing engine.”
The current Ricoh GR Digital III ($419) model was announced back in July, 2009.
In addition to the two new Lumix X lenses announced today, Panasonic also plans to release two large aperture 12-35mm and 35-100mm lenses in 2012. The lenses will be from the new motorized Lumix X series with POWER O.I.S. and will have a minimal focusing distance of 0.25m and 0.85 respectively.
