A recent filing with the Taiwan National Communications Commission revels that the upcoming Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF6 camera will have built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. The official announcement will be on April 9th.

Canon 35mm cinema lens

  • Canon announced the development of a 35mm prime lens - their sixth lens in their cinema line

Canon XA25 HD professional camcorder

  • Canon announced XA25 ($2,699) and XA20 ($2,199) camcorders that feature a 20x HD zoom lens, simultaneous MP4 and AVCHD recording, a 3.5-inch organic LED touch panel display, and wireless connectivity for digital content uploading or remote operation via tablet or smartphone. Their third camcorder, the VIXIA HF G30 ($1,699) includes a 20x zoom lens, newly designed HD CMOS Pro sensor, MP4 recording and wireless capabilities.

Panasonic GF6 and G6 to be announced on April 9th

Panasonic is rumored to announce two new Micro Four Thirds cameras on April 9th: Panasonic GF6 and Panasonic G6. Both models will use the same 16 MP sensor from the GX1 and will have improved AF, faster processor and an articulated screen for the GF6.
