JK Imaging (see their new website at kodakcamera.jkiltd.com) officially released the full specifications of the Kodak PixPro S-1 Micro Four Thirds camera. The US price will be $500 for the 12-45mm kit and $600 for the kit with 12-45mm and 42.5-160mm lenses. Some details on the lenses:

Fuji filed a patent in Japan for a sensor with enlarged sized green pixels: “The human eye is sensitive to luminance noise than the color noise and it is possible to improve the high sensitivity performance and practical to increase the pixel size of the white and green pixels“.

Canon filed a patent for automated AF micro-adjustment (maybe something similar to the Sigma USB dock).

Ricoh filed a patent for a 16mm f/2.8 lens (24mm equivalent) designed for APS-C based mirrorless camera.

Samsung is rumored to announce two more NX cameras and two new NX lenses this year. The new lenses will be a weather sealed 50-135mm f/1.8-2 S ED OIS and a 24mm f/1.4 S ED prime. Samsung is also working on a new 300mm f/2.8 lens, but it will probably be announced in 2015. The new NX camera models for 2014 will be an entry level NX version and a new NX3000 with an AMOLED display (see the diagram displayed above). For 2015 Samsung is also planning to introduce a new high-end NX camera (positioned at the top of the diagram above).
