TTArtisan 35mm f/1.4 and 50mm f/1.2 lenses now available for Canon RF-mount


TTArtisan has released the 35mm f/1.4 (black and silver) and 50mm f/1.2 (black) mirrorless manual focus APS-C lenses for the Canon RF mount. Previously, the two lenses were available only for Canon EF-M, Sony E, Nikon Z, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, and Leica L mount.

To be announced next week: Laowa 58mm f/2.8 2x Magnification APO Macro lens

Venus Optics will announce a new Laowa 58mm f/2.8 2x Magnification APO Macro lens next week. There could also be a second lens. Stay tuned for details
The official announcement will be on September 6th, but the new lens(es) will be presented during a live stream on September 5th.

Tamron announces first mirrorless lens for Nikon Z-mount, will not make lenses for Canon RF-mount

As previously rumored, today Tamron announced the first mirrorless lens for Nikon Z-mount: Tamron 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD (model A047). The full press release can be found here.
Tamron has been already working with Nikon and the result was the Nikkor Z 28-75mm f/2.8 lens, which was actually the first Tamron lens for Nikon Z-mount.

Sony to announce a new PTZ E-mount remote-controlled robotic camera on September 6th, 2022


In addition to Venus Optics, Sony also has a teaser for a new product that will be officially announced on September 6th, 2022. Based on the teaser, we can expect a new Sony PTZ E-mount robotic camera. PTZ cameras are remote-controlled cameras and Sony already has several small models.
