Hasselblad announces four new XCD lenses for the X1D medium format mirrorless camera

Hasselblad announced four new XCD lenses for the X1D medium format mirrorless camera. The first one is the XCD 120mm Macro lens (previously rumored here, additional info available here, PDF file with tech specs). The other three XCD lenses will be released in the next 12 months:

  • Hasselblad XCD 35-75mm zoom lens
  • Hasselblad XCD 65mm lens
  • Hasselblad XCD 22mm wide angle lens

Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art lens additional coverage (sample photos, AF test, price)

Sigma has released the various performance tests/graphs for their new Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art lens on their global website. The lens looks absurdly sharp (according to Sigma, the diffraction MTF better represents real-life performance, even if almost everyone in the industry uses the geometric MTF, which tends to be sharper than reality).

Pricing for the three new full frame Voigtlander lenses for Sony E-mount

DC.watch reported the potential pricing for the three new full frame Voigtlander lenses for Sony E-mount that were announced last week:

  • Voigtlander APO-MACRO LANTHAR 65mm f/2 Aspherical: around ‎¥150,000 ($1,320), sample photos
  • Voigtlander Classic NOKTON 35mm f/1.4: around ‎¥100,000 ($880)
  • Voigtlander NOKTON 40mm f/1.2 Aspherical: around ‎¥150,000 ($1,320), sample photos
