Few days ago I reported on a new Olympus 28mm f/2 full frame mirrorless lens patent. Today Egami spotted another Olympus patent filed in Japan for a 35mm f/1.4 full frame mirrorless lens. Just like the previous 28mm f/2, this 35mm f/1.4 lens is calculated for a sensor slightly smaller than a “real” full frame.
The latest Olympus patent filed in Japan is very interesting – it’s for a 28mm f/2 full frame mirrorless lens. I guess we can now officially start the Olympus full frame mirrorless camera rumor (of course filed patents are no guarantee for future products). Additional patent information:

Sigma filed a patent in Japan for a 11-22mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM FLD Art full frame lens. This will be a nice addition to the current Sigma Art product line. Here are the details:
Canon filed for a EF 200-600mm f/4.5-5.6L USM full frame DSLR zoom lens patent (#2015-212724) in Japan:

Ricoh has a patent for a camera with a built-in dock for a smart phone. Another Ricoh patent is for infrared AF assist lamp (Nikon recently filed a similar patent). Canon has a patent for a new 24-300mm f/4-5.6 lens.

Canon filed a new patent in Japan for a tilt shift mount adapter that works with every EF lens. A similar patent was also filed in the US few months ago.
