Samsung NX200 will have a 20MP APS-C sensor

Dpreview member redcrow confirmed that the Samsung NX200 will have a 20MP APS-C sensor. The camera is expected to be announced for the IFA show in Berlin. In the past, redcrow has always been correct when it comes to providing information for upcoming Samsung products.

Large aperture Panasonic Lumix X 12-35mm and 35-100mm lenses to be released in 2012

In addition to the two new Lumix X lenses announced today, Panasonic also plans to release two large aperture 12-35mm and 35-100mm lenses in 2012. The lenses will be from the new motorized Lumix X series with POWER O.I.S. and will have a minimal focusing distance of 0.25m and 0.85 respectively. Via DCWatch

Panasonic Lumix X 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 and 45-175mm f/4.0-5.6 lenses announced

                 Today Panasonic announced the Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH Power O.I.S ($399.99) and  Lumix G X Vario PZ 45-175mm f/4.0-5.6 ASPH POWER O.I.S. ($399.99) lenses. In addition Panasonic revealed a new superzoom DMC-FZ150 with a 12MP CMOS sensor and a new compact FX90 camera with Wi-Fi capabilities.

New image compression format: JPEGmini
