Canon filed patents in Japan for for several new pancake zoom lenses for their EOS-M mirrorless system: 18-40mm f/3.5-5.6 (pancake), 18-55mm f/4-8 (pancake), 10-20mm f/4-5.6 and 9-18mm f/4-5.6.
