Where is the 46 MP Sigma SD1 DSLR camera?

  There is still no word on the release of the Sigma SD1 DSLR. The camera was initially set to launch around February/March of 2011 (source: Sigma @ Facebook): Hopefully this will not turn into another, almost 2 years delay, like the SD15.

Sigma patents 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens for mirrorless APS-C camera

Sigma filed a patent in Japan for a 18-50 f/3.5-5.6 lens for APS-C mirrorless camera. During the CP+ show in February, Sigma announced that they will start producing lenses for Micro Four Thirds and E-mount camera systems. They even showed a prototype of a 30mm f/2.8 lens for E-mount (Sony).

Rumor: Sigma to release fast prime lenses

Sigma will be releasing a series of fast prime lenses in the next 18 months. Some of the mentioned focal lengths are: 24mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4 and 135mm f/2. Sigma already  has 30mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.4 prime lenses available in different mounts.

Sigma shows 30mm f/2.8 E-mount lens prototype

After Sigma endorsed Sony’s decision to let other manufacturers produce E-mount lenses, they showed their first prototype of a E-mount 30mm f/2.8 lens for Sony NEX system at the CP+ show in Japan. Via DCWatch
