Two new Fuji cameras registered in China (X100F and X-T20?)

Two new Fuji cameras were registered at the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. As Nokishita points out, these could be the X100F (X100T replacement) and X-T20 (X-T10 replacement) that could be announced in early 2017 at the CES show in January or at the CP+ show in February. I expect both the Fuji X100F and Fuji X-T20 to have the new 24MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor found in the X-Pro2 ($1,549) and X-T2 ($1,799). Both cameras will obviously have built-in Wi-Fi:

Hasselblad “is considering” a macro XCD lens for 2017


In a recent interview with Luminous Landscape, Ove Bengtsson from Hasselblad went into details explaining the not-yet-released Hasselblad X1D medium format mirrorless camera (the shipping date is now listed as December 1st). Several of settings and features mentioned in the 25 minutes long video are expected to be released in the upcoming months with multiple firmware updates. Another interesting bit of information: Hasselblad "is considering" a macro XCD lens for 2017 (watch at the 22:40 mark). Currently Hasselblad is offering three XCD lenses.

Canon rumored to announce a new EF 70-200mm f/2.8 lens

Canon is rumored to announce a new EF 70-200mm f/2.8 lens (replacement for the current Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens pictured above). The new version is expected to be lighter and to have a new IS system and upgraded optics. This should not be a surprise since Nikon recently announced their new Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lens.
