The UK based store WEX Photographic has listed the new Sony a7s camera for £2499 – this is double the price of the regular a7 model (£1235):

Few hours after Nikon announced their new 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR ($896.95), Tamron published the shipping date of their 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO lens (model B016) which was announced back in February: the new lens will start shipping on April 24th, 2014 in Japan. The US price is $629 (available also at B&H).

A quick update on my post from yesterday – the US price of the Pentax 645z medium format camera will be $8,496.95. FIY: the previous 645 version costed $10,000 when it was announced back in 2010 (now it is listed for $6,996.95).
The official pricing of the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens will be announced tonight. Shipping fro the Canon version will start on April 25th, other versions will be released at a later date. In addition to full HD (1920×1080 @ 60i and 30p in H.264), the upcoming Pentax 645z medium format camera will also have 4k video recording capabilities (3840 x 2160).

Over the past few weeks we saw all kinds of speculations on the price of the new Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens. I received some reliable information that the Australian retail recommended price of the lens will be 1,099 AUD (around 1,030 USD). This low price is still hard to believe, given the positive test result/review and performance of the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art lens.
