Olympus to announce M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO lens with the E-M1 camera

Olympus will release a new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO lens with their upcoming E-M1 camera. The new lens will be black with L-Fn (Lens Function) button and will have 62mm filter thread. The matching lens hood is LH-66.

Samsung NX 30mm f/2 i-Fn lens (EX-S30ANW) coming soon

Last year I reported that Samsung will release a new version of their 30mm f/2 NX pancake lens with i-Fn functionality. A German retailer now has the new lens listed on their website with a price of 299 EUR (around 400 USD). Expect the official announcement in the next few weeks. The current 30mm f/2.0 lens is listed as backordered at some retailers and currently has a $100 instant rebate – clear indications that a replacement is imminent.
