I already mentioned that Ricoh/Pentax will announce more products for the CP+ next week. Here is the list:

  • Pentax K-S2 (replacement for the K-S1 model?) with a smc PENTAX-DA L 18-50mm f/4-5.6 DC WR RE kit lens

  • HD PENTAX-DA 18-50mm f/4-5.6 DC WR RE (sold separately)

  • New Pentax AF201FG flash with a guide number of 66′ at ISO 100 and tilt capabilities

Update: Pentax will announce a new waterproof Tough WG-5 camera with GPS. Here is the first pictures of the HD PENTAX-DA 18-50mm f/4-5.6 DC WR RE lens:

The new Olympus Air camera module for smartphones is just like the Sony QX1

In addition to the E-M5II camera, lenses and accessories, Olympus Japan announced a new smartphone camera module based on the Open Platform Community (OPC) prototype that was announced few months ago. Olympus calls it a "clip camera", but the concept is the same as the Sony QX1 ($398): the unit has a 16MP sensor and MFT mount where you can attach MFT lenses (all controls are performed from a smartphone):
