Those new products from Sigma are expected to be released for PMA. I will post the direct link later today since I am hoping that some more info will be uploaded in the next few hours.

The previous rumor about another Pentax announcement right after PMA was true. You probably also remember this leak on a retail website about a new Pentax W90 waterproof camera. That one was true as well:
The Pentax W90 will be the first camera with LED lights around the lens for close-up photography. According to the picture it should have HD video and 5x zoom (ok, I will not comment on the substance in the picture above – I think besides water proof and shock proof this cameras will also be s**t proof).
The second camera will be the Pentax X90 – a 26x super zoom camera with a 12.1MP sensor:
For some reason Pentax pulled out of PMA in the last moment (Canon and Leica are also not part of PMA this year).
Expect those two cameras to be announced on February 24th (+/- 1 day in the US).
There were several reports that Samsung is about to announce a new compact camera with a fast f/1.8 lens and an 1/1.8″ image sensor (see all previous Samsung rumors here). This camera was labeled as the “Panasonic LX3 killer”.
I think the camera in question is the fist model in the picture below (click on image to enlarge). The second model looks like a video cam, similar to the Kodak PlaySport. I don’t have detailed specs or models names, but according to the previous rumors from dpreview the “LX3 killer” should have:
Expect an official announcement during PMA in the next few days.
Update – a reader just added this comment:
The second camera from the right is the WB2000:
Sony has already listed “Personal Imaging” as part of their 3D platform:
Sony has also announced a prototype of a high frame rate single lens 3D video camera.
Samsung has indicated that they are working on a 3D camera as well:
Fuji already has a 3D camera on the market.
Sony just announced the previously rumored Sony DSC-TX5 (Waterproof, Freeze Proof, Shockproof and Dust Proof) and DSC-H55 models:
No Sony Alpha DSLR was announced.
Pre-order options:
Full press release after the break:
DigitalREV wrote on their twitter page that they were invited for “another Canon product launch” on February 23rd:
Today’s countdown timer is brought to you by Olympus and is related to a Four Thirds product:
And few more Olympus related updates:
Two pictures of Pentax 645D courtesy of Pentax Japan – this is probably the final version that will be revealed on the teaser ad (click for larger view):
As you can see the back picture is slightly different from the one I published yesterday more buttons, different side cover.
How do I know this will be the final version? Take a look at this picture.
The Pentax 645D teaser is actually slowly displaying more details of the camera – now we can see the shutter release:
The teaser started on February 9th. Six days later the progress bar is aprox, 1/5 of the way to the end. That means the official announcement should somewhere around March 9th-10th, 2010. There were some rumors that the 645D will be unveiled at the CP+ Camera and Imaging Show in Japan (March 11th-14th, 2010).
Here is a prototypes picture of Pentax 645D (courtesy of Pentax):
User Redcrow from dpreview (who has provided some valid info in the past) just wrote about two new Samsung cameras that will be shown @ PMA:
New WB1000 successor
A higher line camera (than WB series)
The WB1000 successor will be called WB2000 – it was previously leaked on Amazon.
