The rumored Samsung NX3 camera will not be be the first camera with an AMOLED display (there is no substantial difference between OLED & AMOLED – Active Matrix is just a way of controlling individual pixels). OLED screens are already available on several models (as production costs are dropping): Nikon just released a p&s camera with a touchscreen OLED display: the Nikon S70. Samyang is going to announce several new lenses in Q1 2010: two version of 35 mm for FF with max aperture f/1.4 for Nikon, Pentax, Sony and maybe Olympus 4/3. The second version with max aperture of f/1.2 will be only for Canon. Canon bayonet has a bigger diameter which will make this possible. It is expected those lenses to be with an ED element and at least one aspherical lens.
Here is the current offering from Samyang on Amazon and their prices.
Full sensor camcorder from Sony: Alpha 1000 coming in 2011. Yes it is fake, but something to think about.
