Pentax joining Micro Four Thirds?
Back in September of 2009 Pentax did acknowledge that they are evaluating the m4/3 option. Today Valentin Sama wrote on his blog:
“From very well informed sources, we could know that in Hoya-Pentax it is very seriously considered the, rather than convenience, necessity to enter “in the Micro Four Thirds”

“Apple has picked Sony’s 8-megapixel camera chip for the 2011 iPhone, according to supply and manufacturing sources, said Rodman Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar.”
OmniVision reported that Apple ordered 5MP sensors from them for the next, 2010 iPhone.

Vincent Laforet wrote this on his blog unde the title “NAD2010 – possible turning point for HDDSLR”:

For those of you who could not make it out to the city of sin for this conference – know that a lot of the buzz here surrounds the HD DSLR and “convergence” worlds. Very exciting times. I can’t wait to share a lot of what I know with you very shortly. Zeiss, RedRock Micro, Lite Panels, Marshall Electronics, Canon and many many more have some very exciting announcement to make tomorrow!”
