gh1k_top According to Amateurphotographer the new Panasonic GH1 will not be available in the UK this month as originally planned. Now the expected delivery is early/mid June. I expect those delays to be world wide. I wonder what’s the reason for this late introduction.

Panasonic LX3 replacement – not until early 2010

This is the official response from Panasonic (US) Customer Service on a customer inquiry:

“… this model has been carried over into our 2009 Digital Still Camera line up, and will be available through out the remainder of 2009 and early into 2010”

This information kind of matches previous reports that Panasonic may skip the LX4 model and go directly for Lumix LX5 in the same time frame. It remains to be seen whether Panasonic will switch this product line to 4/3 in the future.
