The latest Profoto teaser is rumored to be for a small LED flash with phone connectivity

The latest Profoto teaser is probably for a new, small and cheap LED flash with phone connectivity (basically an iPhone off-camera flash). Two different models are expected, but I am not sure if both will be announced next week. The price is rumored to be around $300 and $500. The name of the project is Pandora, but the final product name could be different. The official announement is expected on September 18th. Stay tuned for details.

Sony will not be part of the 2019 Photo Plus show

There were some “rumors” that Sony will have a new camera on display at the 2019 Photo Plus show… Well, this will be kind of hard because from what I can see Sony will not take part in the 2019 Photo Plus show. Sony is not listed at the official 2019 Photo Plus website and I don’t see a Sony booth at the 2019 show floor plan. If I am not mistaken, Sony had the biggest booth at the last PhotoPlus show. Leica first dropped out of the show back in 2017 and I think there will be more companies dropping out in the future.
