First pictures of the upcoming TTartisan 50mm f/0.95 lens for Leica M-mount (Chinese Noctilux)

The Chinese company TTartisan will soon announce a new 50mm f/0.95 lens for Leica M-mount that looks very similar to the $11,300 Leica 50mm f/0.95 Noctilux-M.

TTartisan recently released three new lenses for Leica M-mount that are already available for sale on Amazon and on eBay.

TTartisan and 7Artisans lenses can be purchased directly from the PhotoRumors Online Store with free international shipping.

Leica SL2 camera officially announced

The Leica SL2 camera is now officially announced with a new 47MP sensor, IBIS, Maestro III processor, 5.76MP OLED EVF, improved ergonomics and weather sealing. The Leica SL2 will be available on November 21st at a list price of $5995. Pre-orders are now open at Adorama, B&H and Park Camera (UK). The basic SL2 specifications are:

  • 47MP CMOS sensor offering twice the resolution
  • Speedy Maestro III processor for up to 20 fps shooting
  • 5-axis in-body image stabilization
  • Full Frame Cine 4k (60 fps) video recording
  • Top-of-the-line 5.76MP OLED Electronic Viewfinder
