CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association in Japan) published their June report and the downturn continues - the total number of shipped digital cameras is lower compared to the same month in previous years (orange: 2019, black: 2018, blue: 2017, click for larger view):
Based on the numbers for the first six months, if the second six months is the same, only 7.885 million ILC’s will be shipped. Last year was 10.76 million. Last year, 49% of the units were sold July through December. If that pattern holds only 7.31 million will be shipped. (thanks ZoetMB).

Olympus released their financial results for the 1st quarter of FY2020: mirrorless cameras revenue is down 25%, compact cameras revenue is down 40%. In 2017 DJI acquired a Hasselblad (see this post) and now there are some rumors based on recent patent registrations in Asia that DJI could be coming with their own mirrorless camera that looks very similar to the Hasselblad X1D - for comparison, here are a few pictures of the new X1D II:
