As I already reported, the Sony product announcement at the IBC 2018 show yesterday was not photography related: Sony announced only two new camcorders (HXR-NX200 and HDC-3500). No new Sony a6500 replacement or a Sony a7sIII cameras were announced at the IBC show yesterday as some websites have suggested. There was also no Zeiss Batis 40mm f/2 CF FE lens announcement on September 10th as some websites have suggested… as I already reported as well…

This is my sixth “Adobe reports record revenue (again)” post and while I am very happy that Adobe is doing well, I think they should bring back the standalone licensing option for their photo editing software if they really care about their customers (they won’t and they don’t) – not everyone wants to be locked to a monthly payment plan forever.
