Hasselblad announcements for Photokina – new 30mm XCD lens, X1D 4116 edition and V1D concept camera:

Hasselblad XCD 30mm lens

Hasselblad announced the previously rumored XCD 30mm lens for the X1D medium format mirrorless camera (more info, check pricing).

The XCD lens is part of a new family of dedicated autofocus lenses, developed to support optical quality and portability, offering a wide range of shutter speeds and full flash synchronisation up to 1/2000 sec. Hasselblad can now offer following XCD lenses: 30mm, 45mm and 90mm – in addition to all 12 HC/HCD lenses.

Panasonic LX10, FZ2500, G85, GH5 cameras announced

What else is new?

→ The new shipment date of the Hasselblad X1D medium format mirrorless camera is now end of September (the shipment date was delayed once already till September 15th).

→ The US pricing for the latest Samyang/Rokinon lenses were announced:

Rokinon AF 14mm f/2.8 FE lens for Sony E-mount: $849
Rokinon 20mm f/1.8 ED AS UMC lens: $599
Rokinon 35mm f/1.2 ED AS UMC CS mirrorless lens for APS-C cameras: $499 (different mounts available)

→ Fuji X-T10 and X-T1 cameras are listed as discontinued at the official Fujifilm Japan website.

→ Sinar announced a new Sinarback S 30|45. They have also a few more new products.

→ ALPA also announced several new products for Photokina.

Profoto D2 announced, Profoto Pro-10 still to come (leaked from Photokina booth)

Sigma 85mm f/1.4 Art lens mockup / comparison

In addition to the 500mm f/4 DG OS HSM, Sigma is also rumored to announce a new 85mm f/1.4 Art lens. This rumor got confirmed when Sigma introduced their new 85mm T1.5 FF cinema lens that had a completely new lens design – 14 elements in 12 groups compared to the 11 elements in 8 groups design used in the existing Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM lens.
