According to the Fuji Guys, the Fuji X100 uses four leaf shutter that allow for high speed flash sync, quiet operation and better durability. Here is their latest video demonstrating the Fuji X100 shutter and aperture:

In an interview with Adrian Clarke of Fujifilm, dpreview learned that the anticipated Fuji X100 camera will have an “estimated” price of €1000/$1200 and is on schedule for March 2011 release.

Fuji released another X100 chapter and this time they are describing the design of the camera. Included are also pictures of the leather case. In the ongoing poll for favorite camera of 2010, the Fuji x100 is currently taking the #2 spot (out of aprox. 1800 voters so far). More product pictures after the break:
