Pentax has a new website (teaser?) that simply says: Full Frame Pentax 2016 Spring Debut. When Pentax announced their plans for a new full frame DSLR camera earlier this year, the shipping was supposed to start by the end of 2015. No additional information was released – we still don’t know the camera’s specs and model name. Via DCWatch

Pentax Australia posted on their Facebook page that they will have more updates/announcements for their full frame DSLR camera “closer to November” (I assume they mean shipping in November).

In recent interviews with dpreview and imaging-resource, Pentax/Ricoh executives confirmed only three main points about their upcoming full frame DSLR camera:
Tiendapentaxeros reports that the Pentax full frame DSLR camera is supposed to start shipping in October this year with a 2,000 Euros price tag (around $2,200, US prices are usually lower). Ricehigh believes that this information is correct since Tiendapentaxeros has a very good connection with Pentax headquarter.
