Firmware update v2.0 will bring new filters, Q menu to Fuji X10 camera

Fujifilm will release new firmware update v2.0 for Finepix X10 camera on October 5th, 2012 (check this link on or after that date). The firmware update will contain new advanced filters and the “Q Menu”, currently available only in the high-end X-Pro1 and X-E1 models:

Sony to invest $642 million in Olympus

Samyang T.1.5 85mm AS IF UMC VDSLR lens announced

Samyang added another lens to their VDSLR lens product line. The new T.1.5 85mm AS IF UMC is based on their standard 85mm f/1.4 lens ($329). Price and release dates were not released.

DxOMark Olympus OM-D E-M5 test results are out – the best MFT camera so far

DxOMark published their test results for the Olympus OM-D E-M5 camera. With an overall score of  71, the E-M5 takes the top rank for all Micro Four Thirds cameras. At Photokina Olympus announced the E-PL5 and E-PM2 which use the same sensor as the E-M5. The Panasonic GH3 is not tested yet.

Pentax K, Q, 645 lens roadmaps for 2013
