SanDisk will not produce XQD memory cards, will support CFast 2.0

In an interview at Photokina, SanDisk representative confirmed that the company has no plans to produce XQD memory cards, instead they will concentrate on developing memory cards based on the CFast 2.0 standard, which promises interface speed up to 600MB/sec.

Fuji looking into the possibility of a full frame mirrorless camera, some XF lenses will be compatible

In a recent interview Fujifilm’s operations manager Hiroshi Kawahara said that the company is looking into the possibility of a full frame mirrorless camera. With the exception of some wide angle models, the current XF lenses are designed to cover a full frame sensor.

Hasselblad’s drawings for a compact camera based on the Sony RX100
