On the first leaked picture of the Olympus OM-D camera we can see two of the dials on the top plate (previously reported here). The new camera is expected to be announced on February 8th, 2012. The price is expected to be around $1,100.00 in the US.

Japan patent update: vari-angle LCD screen from Olympus and organic sensor from Fujifilm

Olympus filed a patent in Japan (2011-259166) for a vari-angle LCD screen that can be flipped to pretty much any camera side/angle: In addition to the US patent for an organic sensor, Fujifilm filed a similar patent in Japan (2011-253861).
