What’s going on with Eye-Fi? (technology licensing agreement with Toshiba)

Few weeks ago Eye-Fi announced a technology licensing agreement with Toshiba. According to the press releases, this is just a "licensing agreement", but all Eye-Fi cards are currently listed as discontinued at B&H and the "Shop Now" button on Eye-Fi's website now redirects to Amazon's listing of Toshiba Wi-Fi cards. New Fuji X-A10 mirrorless camera registered in Asia

A new Fuji X-A10 mirrorless camera was recently registered at the South Korean Radio Research Agency (RRA) and at the Indonesian Communication Agency. The new X-A10 model will most likely be a replacement for the pictured above Fuji X-A1 (already discontinued). Fuji also recently announced the X-A3 model and this registration is a confirmation that the X-A line of cheaper cameras with Bayer sensors will continue to exist.

Sony apologizes (again) for getting too many α99 II orders

If you believe in fairy tales, here is one: Sony made an official announcement that they received so many pre-orders for the new a99 II camera at $3,198 that they cannot keep up with the production and potential delays are expected. If you believe those statements, the photo industry should be doing pretty good and it is not. If photo gear manufacturers want to be taken seriously, they should stop using high demand as an excuse for their internal production problems (I am talking about Nikon, Olympus, Fuji, Sony and probably a few other manufacturers).
