DxO issued an update on the Nik Software Collection and DxO PhotoLab release schedule while the company is under bankruptcy protection and is restructuring their business – new versions will be released in June, 2018:

As I reported a few days ago, there is a new Leica 1546 camera model registered in Asia that will have built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and will use the same radio parts as the Panasonic TX2 and Panasonic GX7 cameras, as well as a new ACA-DC 16-E power adapter.
The new Leica 1546 camera will be manufactured by Panasonic AVC Networks Xiamen Co., Ltd. in China – this means the 1546 will most likely be one of the Panasonic rebadged Leica cameras – most likely a new Leica D-Lux since the current D-Lux model was announced back in 2014 (or a new V-Lux, but I doubt that).
One thing I am pretty certain about is that the 1546 will not be a new Leica SL model. Panasonic will not produce a new SL full frame mirrorless camera for Leica in China for the simple reason that the current Leica SL Typ 601 camera is made in Germany (see picture above) and I do not expect it to be replaced any time soon (see also this and this post):

The US pricing for the new Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD lens for Sony E-mount was released today: $799 (£699 in the UK). For comparison, the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens costs $2,198.
Pre-orders are now open at Adorama and B&H (WEX in the UK).

The next big photography related crowdfunded project on Kickstarter is for a new Rolleiflex Instant camera (fully funded in just a few hours).

CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association in Japan) published their March report. The downturn continues – the total number of shipped digital cameras is lower compared to the same month in previous years (orange: 2018, black: 2017, blue: 2016, click for larger view). The table with the actual numbers can be found here:

Today Meyer Optik announced a new Nocturnus 75mm f/0.95 mirrorless lens that will be available for Leica M, Sony E and Fuji X mounts. Meyer Optik already had a Nocturnus 50 f/0.95 II and Nocturnus 35mm f/0.95 lenses for Sony E-mount in the past. Here is a picture of both 50mm and 75mm Nocturnus lenses next to each other:

Update: the Meyer Optik Nocturnus 75mm f/0.95 lens for Leica M-mount will not be rangefinder coupled.

New Sony and Leica (Leica Q2?) camera models were registered online in Asia – my guess is that those are the cameras that will be announced for the 2018 Photokina show in September. Here is the full list of all registered but not yet officially announced cameras (1 x Canon, 3 x Nikon, 1 x Sony, 1 x Fuji, 1 x Leica):
