Samsung NX2 coming to Korea in early 2016?

Samsung-logo
Several new rumors are currently floating online that a Samsung NX2 mirrorless camera will be announced in early 2016 (either during the CES or CP+ shows). One of the possibilities is that the NX2 will be available only for the Korean market (Samsung officially pulled out their cameras from several European countries). I personally don’t believe this Samsung NX2 rumor. One thing is for sure: if Samsung doesn’t announce any new NX products for the CES or CP+ shows in early 2016, I am pretty sure they are done with at least their NX line – they may continue to produce some connected compact cameras.

Amazon currently has a good deal on the Samsung NX1 camera – you can get an additional $200 credit on top of the existing $400/$600 rebates. The qualifying Samsung products can be found here.

Update: see also this related news from Korea.
