At the 2015 CP+ show in Japan, Fuji showed several new lenses that are part of the updated 2015 roadmap:
The other pictured lenses are: XF 16mm f/1.4, XF 90mm f/2, XF and 100-400mm (aperture not yet announced).

Three new companies joined the Micro Four Thirds System Standard Group – including the drone maker DJI that already produced several models with a 14MP, 1080p HD camera. Maybe we will see drones with MFT cameras in the future?


The new Olympus E-M5 II is currently in stock at Amazon (via third party reseller, available also in silver). The Amazon listing also mentions the three upcoming Olympus MFT lenses:
“Scheduled to arrive 2015 and onward are the M.ZUIKO Digital ED 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO, M.ZUIKO Digital ED 300mm f/4 PRO and M.ZUIKO Digital ED 8mm Fisheye PRO”

According to B&H the camera should start shipping in the US on February 27, 2015.




The price of the new Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens was just announced: $849. The lens is currently available for pre-order at B&H and Adorama and it comes in Nikon, Canon and Sigma mounts. Shipping will start on March 20th, 2015.

Sigma announced the availability of the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary lens: the Canon version will be available in March, 2015 and Nikon version in May 2015. No dates were given for the Sigma and Sony models. The new lens will be on display at the CP+ in Japan. The price is still not announced. The Contemporary model is lighter, cheaper and with a different (simplified) lens design compared to the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sport model that is almost twice as expensive.
Update – the US price for the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary lens were just announced: $1,089.00. The lens is currently available for pre-order in three different mounts:
