In the past few days I have been working on some blog updates – this is what you may have missed:

New Mitakon 35mm f/0.95 lens for Micro Four Thirds, Sony NEX and Fuji XF cameras (manual focus) is now available on eBay.

Kenko Tokina announced the “Filter Stick” – a quick and easy way to add a filter to your digital camera.

Blackmagic cinema camera is still delayed due to sensor glass issues.

DxOMark released test results for the Sony NEX-5R.

B&H now lists the shipping date of the Fuji X-E1 camera kit as November 10, 2012. The X-E1 body only is already in stock at Amazon US.

Fujifilm released firmware update ver.2.01 for X-Pro1 and ver.1.01 for X-E1.

Fujifilm filed a patent in Japan for sensor phase detection. Few months ago Fuji confirmed that phase detect AF is coming to their mirrorless cameras.

Ricoh’s patent for a 5.3-22mm f/2-3.5 lens (for 1/1.7″ sensor)

Ricoh filed patent 2012211956 in Japan for a 5.3-22mm f/2-3.5 lens designed for a 1/1.7″ sensor (24-100mm equivalent). The lens design contains 11 elements in 8 groups, including two aspherical elements. This lens could be designed for the Pentax Q system, which has a 1/2.3″ sensor, or for a new GXR module.
