Some info on the next Micro Four Thirds camera from Olympus: it will be named E-P1. The confusion here is that two years ago Olympus already had a prototype with the name E-P1. We should know more in the next two weeks, prior to the official announcement.

After the first post about the future of the Apple digital camera, I came across those job postings – I know, they are mainly for the iPhone, but I still think that Apple is paying too much attention to the camera portion of their products lately:

The rumor for a replacement of the current Fuji S5 Pro has been circulating for a while and recently got rejuvenated with this post on dpreview.
Here is the email that triggered this rumor:

Maybe they will be released with the rumored Sony a500 and a550 DSLRs.
At the PMA 2009 show Sony showed 6 different prototype lenses: a unknown super-telephoto lens, DT 50mm F1.8, DT 30mm F2.8 Macro, DT 18-55mm F3.5-5.6, DT 55-200mm F4-5.6 and a 28-75mm F2.8. As of today all of them are released except the super-telephoto and the 28-75mm F2.8 zoom lenses. The question is – will there be another DLSR (high end) released with those lenses?

Update: Olympus uploaded another video today (Olympus Pen EE) – I guess they will cover the whole Pen history until Jun 16th and then announce the new m4/3 camera – note that the updates are every week on Tuesday: last update was on May 26 (today – Tuesday), next one is on June 2nd (Tuesday), I guess there will be another one on June 9th and on June 16th (also a Tuesday) we will see the m4/3.
