Mitakon 50mm f/0.95 lens price: $800

Quick update on my post from yesterday: the price of the new Mitakon 50mm f/0.95 lens from MXcamera will be $799. The lens will be available for pre-order on April 20th on MXcamera's online store.

What else is new?

→ Two new Canon EOS M mirrorless camera are rumored to be announced by the end of the year (Q3). Most likely we will not see them in the US.

→ Canon announced a white edition of the EOS 100D camera and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens in the UK.

→ DxOMark posted their test results for the Canon PowerShot G1x Mark II camera ($799.99).

Zeiss to announce a new Otus 85mm f/1.4 lens for Photokina

Zeiss is rumored to announce a new Otus 85mm f/1.4 lens for the 2014 Photokina show in September. Two new Otus lenses (including a fast f/1.4 wide angle model) were already mentioned last year in interview with Zeiss reps.

Zeiss currently has only one Otus lens - the Distagon T* 55mm f/1.4.

Fujifilm announced 14.x TCL-X100 tele-conversion lens for the X100, new X-T1 accessories

Fujifilm announced a new TCL-X100 1.4x tele-conversion lens designed for the Fuji X100 cameras (US price is not yet announced):

"Fujifilm is proud to announce the launch of the TCL-X100, a tele-conversion lens designed specifically for the FUJIFILM X100 and X100S cameras. The lens attaches directly onto the camera and increases picture taking versatility by multiplying the fixed focal length by approx. 1.4×, converting it from 23mm (35mm in 35mm equivalent) to a 33mm fixed focal length (50mm in 35mm equivalent)."
