Here are some more details in addition to the Olympus E-5 specs from last week:
More details surfaced about the upcoming Pentax announcements on September 9th and September 20th. In addition to the K-5 and the K-r, expected are also, at least two new lenses, some compact cameras and may be “something completely new”. Still not sure how the new products will be divided between both announcements.

In terms of the “completely new” product, the expectations are for a new Pentax EVIL camera that could be shown at Photokina , probably under glass, just like the 645D few years back. The second possibility (very low chance) is a new full frame Pentax DSLR.

This is just another confirmation of the September 9th, 2010 announcement of a new Pentax DSLR (or maybe DSLRs):
After the largest CMOS and the 120MP sensors, Canon continues with their display of future technologies at the Canon Expo 2010.
The star of the show was definitely the Canon 4k camera that is able to shoot 4k (4096×2160 resolution) video @ 60 frames per second with a 8MP 2/3-inch CMOS sensor. Yes, RED should be afraid.
