36exp is a “group of professional photographers who actively work in our fields of expertise“. Few hours ago the owner of that website went to several online forums and posted this:
“Last night I attended a market research session on a new camera design, they showed a mock up and spec of a new camera with a dSLR like spec and 24MP APS C size sensor, in a small retro body, with interchangeable lenses”
Samsung NX11 system camera
The Samsung NX20 will be an advanced upgrade of NX10/11 model that will have a new design and improved performance. The new NX model will have an EVF. The camera will be announced at CES 2012 which will take place in Las Vegas from January 10-13, 2012. The 16-80mm zoom lens will also be presented and will probably be the NX20 kit lens.
Few days ago Ritz Camera send out a corporate wide email that they are selling again Canon cameras in their brick and mortar stores. Ritz stopped selling Canon cameras few years ago when there were going through their restructuring after they filed for bankruptcy.
At the same time Ritz Interactive, the parent company of the e-commerce websites RitzCamera.com, WolfCamera.com and CameraWorld.com filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
If you look at the EXIF data of this picture taken by an Apple employee, you will see that it was taken by an iPhone 4, but the rest of the information doesn’t match with the any of the current iPhone models:
“This (very attractive) photo claims to have been taken by an iPhone 4, but the rest of its EXIF data tells a different story: although the image has been cropped to 2235×2291 (5.12 megapixels), the original picture was a much larger 3264×2448 — or just shy of eight megapixels. What’s more, the lens was recorded as a 4.3mm f/2.4, which is closer to that of a point-and-shoot than the iPhone 4’s actual 3.85mm f/2.8.”
The previously reported rumors were true – today Adobe announced a new cloud based storage for photographers called Carousel.
Samyang announced pricing and availability of the new Samyang 7.5mm 1:3.5 UMC Fish-eye for MFT cameras. Some sample images can be found here. The lens can be purchased on eBay.

of Samyang Optics in Europe, is proud to report that the lens announced in March, Samyang 7.5mm 1:3.5 UMC Fish-eye MFT will be available from the middle of September this year. The lens will be available in two colour versions: silver and black. Estimated retail price is EUR 299.
DCWatch has a report on the first public showing of the Pentax K to Q mount lens adapter from Osaka, Japan. The adapter will allow you to use Pentax K-mount lenses on the new Pentax mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. The Pentax Q (priced at $799.95) has a 5.5x crop factor which will turn a 60-250mm lens into a 330-1375mm monster. The shown adapter was just a prototype. No price or official release date were given.
