Fujifilm X10 in the next few weeks

The Spanish website Quesabesde independently confirmed PR’s previous rumors about the Fuji X10 – a new compact camera with a sensor smaller than the X100 (but still larger than most point and shoot models).

The Fujifilm X10 is expected to have retro design and fast zoom lens:

  • 2/3″ sensor (smaller than Micro Four Thirds but bigger than the Canon G12)
  • 4x manual zoom lens with fast f/2.0 aperture
  • Price: $599.00
  • In some markets this model may be called X50

New Sony products price and availability in Japan

Digicame-info published the potential prices and release dates for the new Sony products in Japan:

  • Sony NEX-5N is expected on September 9th. The zoom kit will be out in October/November.
  • The new NEX EVF will cost around ¥ 35,000.
  • Sony Alpha a65 is to be released in mid-October. Expected selling price: ¥ 95,000 for a body only.
  • Sony Alpha a77 will also be  released in mid-October with a price tag of ¥ 150,000 for body only. The 50mm kit will cost ¥ 210,000.
  • Sony NEX-7 is to be released on November 11th, expected selling price is ¥ 130,000 for body only.
