Zeiss teases about the upcoming Distagon T* 2,8/15 ZF.2/ZE super wide angle lens

Zeiss posted a teaser on their official blog about "new super wide angle lens from Carl Zeiss":

"It is here: the lens at the top of the wish list of our community on Facebook and Flickr. Now you can look forward to exploring entirely new creative opportunities. In the next few days, this is where we will be showing you everything our new SLR lens has to offer."

I am sure this teaser is for the new Distagon T* 2,8/15 ZF.2/ZE super wide angle lens that is expected to be released on March 16th, 2012 and will start shipping in May. Expect the price tag to be around $3000.

Canon NAB teaser: “The story continues”

It seems that Canon will have another "major announcement" at the 2012 NAB show on April 15th, 2012 in Las Vegas. My bet goes for a smaller and cheaper EOS C300 cinema camera.

Kipon Leica M-mount lens adapter for Fujifilm X-Pro1 camera now available on eBay

The Kipon Leica M-mount lens adapter for Fujifilm X-Pro1 cameras is now available on eBay for $67.99. Few days ago Kipon announced a whole series of different lens adapters for the X-Pro1 mirrorless camera. Fujiilm will release their own adapter for Leica lenses later this year.

Kipon als has a Contax lens adapter for the X-Pro1.

Kodak will be increasing the price of all its films by 15%. No exact date was given for the price increase. Stock up on your favorite film now. A week ago Kodak announced that it will discontinue three slide films.

The silver Zeiss Ikon rangefinder camera has been discontinued

The silver Zeiss Ikon film rangefinder camera has been discontinued according to Cosina Japan website. Last year Zeiss discontinued the Ikon SW (Super Wide) version that did not have a viewfinder/rangefinder. The black Zeiss Ikon rangefinder camera ($1,618.00) is still available for sale.

Medium format camera with video recording?

I don't know much about those two images of a Phase One 645DF camera with a Leaf Aptus-II 12 digital back mounted on a video rig with focus pulling and external mic, but I do know that back in 2010 there were some rumors that Phase One is working on a medium format digital back with live view and RAW video recording.
