Yvon Bourque (who probably has seen the Pentax K-7 and will be releasing a book soon) writes on his blog “Other DSLRs will have to play catch-up”. The only viable rumor for this catch-up is an electronic viewfinder with the possibility of showing simultaneously information about other functions, such as live histogram or even live view and video with the mirror lockup. Cateto blog remind us that Pentax filed similar patent application back in 2008:
“A relay finder optical system, of a single-lens reflex camera, includes a condenser lens group, a prism, and a relay lens group, in this order from a primary imaging plane.
